On-Call Membership
Must reside within 2 miles of the fire district boundaries. You will respond from home, in your personal vehicle, to all scenes or the firehall depending on the type of call, whenever you are available. A percentage of drills, meetings, and special events (fundraisers, fire prevention, community events) throughout the calendar year must be attended.

Duty Shift Membership
Must reside within 25 miles of the fire district boundaries. A minimum four (4) hour shift, and a maximum of twelve (12) hours, must be met standing by at the firehall. During that duration, all calls must be responded to by the on duty person (s). There is an hour requirement per calendar year of 288 hours. This equates to about 24 hours per month, but is evaluated based on the yearly 288 hours, not monthly. Hours will be prorated based on the month of induction. All duty shift members are strongly encouraged to respond to calls outside of your โshiftโ. Similar to on-call members, a percentage of drills, meetings, and special events (fundraisers, fire prevention, community events) throughout the calendar year must be attended.
