It’s the Kenmore Volunteer Fire Departments Second Annual Car Show on Sunday August 15th (rain date August 22nd). 1350 Military Road, Corner of Woodward Ave. Our first car show last year was a HUGE success with over 90 cars on display. This is a family event, so bring everyone to enjoy these cars, trucks, etc. Great Food, Music, Raffles and Fun. Sponsors for the event as well as vendors are welcome. Contact any member of the KVFD. Bills Fans, Get Your Tickets
The Kenmore Volunteer Fire Department is holding at TAILGATE FUNDRAISER with some great prizes available. From TV’s, grills, cornhole boards, chest freezer, gift cards and SO much more. Get your tickets from any firefighter, or stop by our firehall at 16 Nash Rd and pick up your tickets. Bring the kids to get your tickets, they love seeing our trucks, take a picture or two. Tickets are only $10 each. Good luck to everyone, as they say “You gotta be in to win“

Installation of Officers for 2026 – 2027
On Saturday April 25th The Kenmore Volunteer Fire Department held their annual Officers Installation. For the 123rd time the elected officers of the KVFD took their oath to protect and serve the citizens of the Village of Kenmore and the Town of Tonawanda.

The KVFD was Honored to have Village of Kenmore Trustee Brittney Jones give the Oath of Office to the Newly Elected Officers. We thank Trustee Jones for taking the time to be with us on Saturday night.

Past Chief Willie Drenko, Center, was honored during our Officers Installation for over 40 years of service. Past Chief Drenko served as 2nd Assistant Chief 1994 – 1995, 1st Assistant Chief 1995-1996, 2017-2019, 2023-2026 and Chief 1996-1997, 2007-2008. Willie presently serves as a Warden and Commissioner. He is a Past President of the Town/Village Commissioners.
